Our Year Festival Support

Our Year Festival Support aims to support community led, mid-scale festivals across the district. The purpose of the grant is to support infrastructure costs, boost the skills of organisers and build local leadership capacity to deliver festivals.

 

There are three elements to the Our Year Festival Support:

-A fixed grant of £5,000

-An Events Handbook

-Individual Guidance – from Wakefield Council’s in-house expert Festivals and Major Events team

There will be 4 awards of £5,000, with a total of £20,000 allocated to this support.

 

Application Deadline: 5pm, Monday 4 March 2024
